What is an RSS feed?

Really Simple Syndication. RSS is a web content format for syndicating news and the content of news-like sites and personal weblogs, or blogs. RSS is a dialect of XML. All RSS files must conform to the XML specification, as published on the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) website.
